Show HN: Bullet Script (bs) – a Lisp(y) VM for shmup bullet patternshttp://bs.ell.dev
I'm a huge fan of an old project called BulletML which was a way of describing shmup (typically bullet hell) patterns in a kinda weird and clunky XML format. I, however, think sexprs + a little lisp magic can make this idea a lot more fun so I made bullet-script. You can check out a live repl (ctrl+enter submits the buffer) + demo on the linked site in this submission and you can also check out a language guide here: https://bs.ell.dev/guide/ I'd love to see what you folks can make! If you made a cool pattern please link and share it here! Comments URL: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=50…
