Hi HN, I built pippin, a native Rust client for macOS's "High-Performance" Screen Sharing mode on Linux. There are lots of options that can get you usable, high resolution remote access to macOS from non-Apple devices, but until recently there were no options that did not require installing and maintaining a server on your Mac. Apple normally restricts High-Performance Screen Sharing (HEVC 4:4:4 video, system audio, and dynamic display resizing) to Mac-to-Mac connections.
